The 2347 Hveden Federation elections took place across the Hveden Federation on 2 June 2347. The second presidential election took place, elections to the President's Assembly took place contesting 130 seats, and elections to the National Assembly took place contesting 681 seats.
The strategy of the Federal Liberal party was to bounce off of the popularity of the parties' reforms. In National party held territories, they promoted the idea of a Hvedic identity to persuade voters away from Kusfeld nationalism, while in Libertarian party held territories, they promoted laws such as the 2346 Consolidation Act and the 2345 Minority Protection Act which enshrined minority rights and powers in law.
Presidential election[edit | edit source]
Candidates[edit | edit source]
Federal Liberal candidate[edit | edit source]
The Federal Liberal Party renominated Alessand Braune to run for re-election to a second term.
National Party candidate[edit | edit source]
Two candidates were on the short list to be President in 2347: Fritz Wentzel and Otto Berkel. Wentzel had ran in the 2341 election and received just 30% of the vote and so lost the nomination vote to Berkel. Otto Berkel was currently serving as the senator to Karnaya.
New Libertarian candidate[edit | edit source]
Libertarian senator for Isteic, Elsert De Wit, was selected to run as the first Libertarian candidate.
Results[edit | edit source]
Alessand Braune won 55.6% of the vote and thus a second round was not necessary. He was successfully re-elected for a second term to last until 2353. He won by 13.3pp less than before, but still won a majority, while Berkel also won a smaller share of the vote than Wentzel. De Wit won 13.5%, a significant amount, but not enough to sway the election.
