The '''2499 Empherias general election''' was held on 2 September 2499, to elect 600 members to the [[Empherias|Empherian]] [[Parliament of Empherias|House of Parliament]]. It resulted in the incumbent [[People's Socialist Party of Empherias|Socialist Party]] receiving a plurality, short 3 seats for a majority. Overall, the Socialists saw little changes while the electorate swung around 50 seats from favouring the [[National Party of Empherias|Nationalists]], to favouring the [[Empherian Liberal Party|Liberals]]. The Socialists and [[Green Social and Labour Party of Empherias|Greens]] agreed to a supply and demand coalition. This was the fourth consecutive victory for the Socialists, but the worst showing of incumbent Prime Minister [[Lucia Emmelie King|Lucy King]].
