In 1501 XY, Kentronik officially invaded [[Grenard]], in the eponymously named [[War of Grenard]]. Immediately after the war ending, and its annexation thereafter, a massive road and building reconstruction began in the territories, as to "Ahitereiranize" it, leading to various nobles and merchants of Kentronik taking hold in its territories and ports. The people of Grenard were given small temporary tax rebates to help the assimilation process go smoothly, while nobles of the land were forced to either swear fealty of be stripped of lands. The Larte family would be prominent in its protest of the Kentronik occupation, as a result they would be publicly executed in the capital, leading to the [[Larte rebellion]]. |

In the capital of Kentronik, Inysta, the King Frezar would declare the Empire of Anternia as letters and speeches from representatives began today regarding the restructuring of the Kingdom of Kentronik, the name change was not only brought upon by the need to include those conquered by Kentronik in the wars of old to give them something to feel proud of but also to give the new empire reasons for further expansion in every direction the Anternian culture sits itself. As a new flag is raised over a new empire, the cheers of those celebrating something they can believe in drowns out the back room deals and assassinations taking place at the exact same time, with the former King Frezar making sure to use this as an opportunity to consolidate his absolute and unyielding power over the nation. |
