Later being adopted to refer to the whole region, being shortened into "Ahiteria" becoming the country's name for centuries, until the early 2300s. Due to some misunderstanding of the early Anternian script, Ahitereiran scholars in the 2300s would claim the original name wasn't Ahi Ternia but rather Ahi Terenia, as a result claiming it would be more correct to call the country Ahitereira, which would become the country's name.
