History
Prehistory (Before 1st Century XY)
The region of present-day Ahitereira was first inhabited by Dwarves, who roamed the southern coast. These were subsistence societies and although they did not establish prosperous settlements, they did form organized societies. The largest early settlements were in the Vitorian peninsula. These early settlements experimented with domestication of herding animals, the raising of some cereal crops and fluvial or marine fishing.

In -1000XY Ahitereira would see various waves of humans invading the region and occupying it, forming the first Kloresan groups, leading to waves of Dwarven exodus to Empherias, which to this day still inhabit the country as a predominant minority. The first Kloresan peoples, while not having a written language, have archeological reports that indicate the existence of a numeral and counting system.

Anternian reports on the Kloresans, alongside the various interpretations of archeological remains in the region, indicate that the native Kloresan societies were matriarchal and extremely feudal, with a cult of fertility being taken extremely seriously. The systems of governance in the region had strong hierarchies with a powerful military and religious aristocracy. The Kloresan faith was able to also remain consistent due to the constant communication between chiefs from each village.

The first written descriptions of the inhabitants of the Vitorian peninsula, by Anternian strategist and historian Veriko Larata, referred to them as:

"Colorful savages who have their women rule due to sheer logistical laziness".
