Hajiri - Meysamzi War edit

Crucifixion of Adyatia by Meysamzi under Hani after succeeding his father Iqqua. The crucifixion was met by declaration of war by Hajiri, and Alwazun, now an adult and veteran general of the Atlantian wars would muster an army of bokanist converts to overthrow the empire. Hani would be assassinated and there would be no successor chosen for the empire. Peasantry and lower nobility would convert to bokanism and join Alwazun's army as he approached Širandax. The Hajiri would briefly intervene in a Gozhorenic civil war over allegiance, depose the khan and march west with bokanist conscripts. Širandax would fall to Alwazun whilst most of the northeast was overran by Hajiri. The high nobility of the empire and most of its army would flee for the hills of the Saxian xaharta, Savaja and Krjjnasyava (Krisnasya). In the battle for Širandax, Alwazun would lead a smaller contingent of his army, whilst the rest would be ordered to keep the fight going in the more defensible terrain of Atlantia. He and his men would ultimately die, but not before killing grand prince Akgur, several other high ranking noblemen and causing devastating casualties to the invading army. After that the invasion would lose steam but Sinkajja would ultimately fall under the Hajiri Kana.

Fall of Hajiri edit

The conquests had been successful but the turmoil from the conflict and the failure to capture Atlantia would lead to greater instability within the empire. Algdunite and Alwazunite activity within the empire, as well as an upsurge of new sects would breed instability within the empire Ultimately one night Alshabib would be assassinated in his palace. Baza the first would proclaim himself as the rightful successor of the Saakenids by mustering the local support of the bokanist church, but all governors outside of mejridi region and central azaria would denounce and reject the claim. Some others would go as far as to proclaim themselves successors too, such as Juszam Kana and Aljazar Kana, the latter of which would be overthrown by alwazunite commander Šadu.

Baza Kana edit

Re-emergence period edit

Prime Minister Mohammed Blaire was ousted due to being too ineffective. The son of former prime minister Abdullah, Aman, would begin to gain political power using his father's name and connections in the media. Eventually, he would run to become prime minister under his father's neoconservative PVAP party.

Aman Abdullah would address parliament on 9 August 2500 in the capital city Bazir where he would announce intentions to further increase Azyeri-Ceironian relations and ties with the High Kingdoms, while maintaing good relations with Fazar. He also addressed the ongoing war in Saki-Bussi, which had lasted for over a decade - condemning prime minister Blaire for sitting idle and letting the rebels gain land. He also denounced the spread of communism worldwide and decreed the destruction of 'communist rebel scum and their Ladrosian backers'. He believed that this would rile up his main base of middle aged to older people which would help him the upcoming election. He would face stiff opposition from a coalition of social democratic and liberal factions, as well as isolationists and anti-war parties. Aman would get elected.

A surge of both legal and illegal migration from Ladros would change up the political discourse. Many on the right feared the Ladrosians replacing native Azyeri peoples owing to the paganism of the skaven. This led to a rise of xenophobic and racist attacks against Ladrosians alongside skaven in general. While quickly condemned by most high level government officials, action to slow them down was slow. Most anti-hate-crime bills would be drafted by the opposition Left Coalition, although the fractured mess of that coalition would see this also take a long time. Growing numbers of anti-war sentiment would see protests and riots begin in major cities, which would only ramp up intensity after the Southern Army faced a crushing defeat. Opportunistic politicians and popular Right politicians would spin the blame for the violence on Ladrosian immigrants, attempting to steer away support for the war effort. Aman's inability to face any action dashed much hope of a re-election

The government ordered a complete withdrawal of the airforce from Saki Bussi in September 2501, recognising a new IC resolution. General Marabad was forced to resign - the one who ordered the deployment. The Head of Department Azugöd also was forced to resign, handed over to the International Concord. Mahmud would be instated as the new supreme general of the coalition forces in Saki Bussi.
