The Democratic Mid-Sea Organization was formed at the final meeting of the united Congress of the [[Imperial Combine]], in March 2448, as the many seceding nations still desired to retain a lesser degree of economic and military cooperation. As such, the pact would consist of two parts, a military cooperation committee, to ensure mutual defense between all member states; and an economic union, with fair trade and, a tariff free zone, and a united currency. While all founding members were apart of both, since then, many DMSO member states have ended up as part of just one or the other, with the Azarian Dinar proving a particularly notable failure.
