The name of the country originates from the word for the 'Empher' peoples who spoke the 'Empheri' language. Before the modern state of Empherias existed, there were multiple Empher kingdoms who spoke Empheri. Following the Wynnoan conquests of the Empheri kingdoms in the 2000s, the term 'Empherias' would develop and become the official name of the country, roughly translating to 'all of the emphers' |
