With all members now having joined the High Kingdoms, the first presidential and house of representative elections were scheduled for 2449. Presidential elections had five year terms, while legislative elections had three year terms.

In the presidential election, Richelieu ran for re-election.

The legislative election was the first and was therefore very hard to predict for pollsters and political parties. Independents could not run in this general election, with only approved political parties being able to be placed on the ballot. To do this, the political party must also hold at least 1 seat in the parliament of the same constituent country as the constituency they want to run in.
