Jùr River: Difference between revisions

The modern name "Jùr" comes from the [[Sinkayyi Language|sinkajjì]] term of the same name, itself a corruption of the old sinkajjì '''Xhura/Xhyura''', which descends from even older '''Kxwuʼrayh''', thought to come from ''Akxwoʼnʼrayis'' which could be translated asmeaning "Mastermaster waters", or "Chiefchief waters".
