The River Kenton (KENTON, literally "Grand River" in Old Anternian) is the largest, most prominent river in Ahitereira, running a course of 1817 kilometers from Vinela to the Kenton Estuary. Some of its tributaries, mainly the Telgey and Igna rivers, rise in the Grensalbourg Volcanic Field as streams of magma. The river hosted the heartland of the Kentronik Empire, and continues to be a vital component in Ahitereira's economy, serving as the primary method of transportation and trade throughout much of the country.

The river was the host of the 21st East Alaxian Sailing Competition in 2473, starting from the city of Nuvacita and ending near the Kenton Estuary. The competition saw the first flush in it's lifetime, where three Ahitereiran teams won the top three positions.
