The '''Liberal Party of Empherias''', more commonly known as the '''Liberal Party''' or '''Liberals''' is a centre to centre-right political party in [[Empherias]].
The Liberals went back to the backbenches from the 2440s until the 2470s but it joined the federal political group of Liberals. The long period in the back pushed party policies more to the centre to try and become electable but these results ended in failure. A failing Socialist government saw the right-wing section of the party rise to power and win back to back elections in the 2470s and 2480s. They introduced a large array of conservative policies with a big majority and long period to implement them, especially privatisation and neo-liberal policies. With Scarlett May's resignation in 2487, the far-right of the party hijacked it to implement a further right-wing policies but they are voted out and internal rebellions take place within the party. The Liberals resurge as a more moderate party in the early 2500s but lost power to the Nationalists when they fail to handle the financial crisis in 2507. The Nationalists grip the right-wing vote for a while and keep the Liberals out of power. Under Valorie Metz, the Liberals return to a major power and take advantage of a scandal filled Labour government and a successful Liberal group nationwide to win a convincing coalition government.
