Maysiqiy are comics or graphic novels originating from the Vamu. Most maysiqiy conform to a style developed in the Vamu in the latter half of the 25th century, and the form has roots in older Awai and Kakanqui art. The term 'maysiqiy' is used in the Vamu to refer to both comics and cartooning. Outside of the Vamu, the word is typically used to refer to comics originally published in the country.

Maysiqiy are usually black and white, though Awai-made maysiqiy are often coloured.
