The '''Obadiah Democracy Index''' is an index composed by the [[Zoeng Institute]], a thinktank that serves as the political science section of [[Obadiah Sciences Inc.]], a [[Great Kashini]] and [[Ceironia|Ceironian Union]] based research company which itself is a subsidiary of the [[Obadiah Conglomerate]]. Similar to the [[Meridian Development Index]], also formulated by the Zoeng Institute, the index primarily revolves around political rights. == Methodology ==
An average out of the fifty cases is made, a majority of the questions containing three or two options. A zero is granted for answers that are defined as evident of a lack of democracy, a half point to mixed responses, and a full point to judgements that clearly define a following of democratic principles. There are two versions of the index, one originating from the results made by Zoeng Institute members, and another by a public opinion survey. The institute recognises the potentiality of bias in its conclusions.
