Lady '''Melanie Natalia Monroe, Baroness of Silverholt, The High Royal Marquise''' (7 September 2436 - 1 January 2518) was an [[Empherias|Empheri]] politician and stateswoman. She served as the [[Chancellor of the Exchequer of Empherias|Chancellor of the Exchequer]] of Empherias from 2467 to 2470, and the [[Deputy Prime Minister of Empherias|Deputy Prime Minister]] from 2468 to 2470. She is the only person in history to serve both of these positions concurrently. She is often considered to be a de-facto [[Prime Minister of Empherias|prime minister]] as during the later years of [[Sofia Hopkins]]' premiership, she fulfilled the prime minister's duties more often than not. Because of the huge stress of the multiple high positions she held, she resigned as a MEP on 4 December 2470 to rest. She was awarded the lordship of [[Silverholt]] by PM [[Klara Willows]] in 2471. She later became an activist for mental health, heading many charities and organisations to raise awareness and help those in need.
