The 2306 Hveden Federation presidential election took place between 1 April 2306 to 28 June 2306 to elect the President of the Hveden Federation . The winner would enter office on 1 July 2306. 73.3% of the population were eligible to vote, and there was a recorded turnout of 47.4%. Maar Skalgar won re-election with 56.32%, a margin of 24.96pp over second place Edgar Edwin Gore, who won 31.36% of the vote.
Five candidates ran for election. Incumbent Maar Skalgar representing the United Party ran for re-election; the National Party nominated Edgar Edwin Gore ; the Conservative Party decided to re-run their 2302 nominee Frederick Mentz hoping for a better result. The People Party did not run a candidate in this election, having formed a supply and demand agreement in the legislature and having members serving in Skalgar's government. They therefore felt they want to give Skalgar a better chance at winning. The Progressive Party nominated Egovian candidate Zachov Kotwicz . National party rebels Matkalvina Party of Nationalists nominated Mersey Turpitz hoping to take both National votes and Progressive votes, many of whom voted for a Matkalvina candidate previously.
