The 2318 Hveden Federation senate election took place between 1 April 2318 and 28 June 2318 to elect the 89 members of the Senate of the Hveden Federation. Only 3.01% of the population were eligible to vote in these elections, with a higher voting age and requirement of owning property. 13 new one-member constituencies were created as new areas joined the union.
All seven founding members received 10 senators, while all 19 remaining states would each receive 1 single seat - for a senate of 89 members. 45 senators would reach a majority, the requirement to pass a bill.
With the coalition of the United and People parties very heavily under pressure by Alessand Braune, the People Party stood candidates in many United Party areas, but rising popularity with the United Party with Karl Seiger on the ticket made races very competitive. The Conservatives and Progressives both stood in way less constituencies hoping to consolidate funding and campaigning into a few key seats. The Separatist Bloc aimed to increase their vote share massively by taking advantage of vote splitting on the left.
The People Party, the largest party, won 33 senators, an increase of 2 from the 2314 election. This was less than they anticipated but it still kept them the largest party by a margin of 11 seats. The United Party remained in second place, losing 5 seats to win 22 senators. The National Party came third again with 18 senators, an increase of 3, while the separatist bloc gained 12 from the previous election to a total of 15. This meant that the right-wing nationalist bloc had a combined 33 seats, up 15 from the previous election, and pushing them to a significant voting bloc in the senate once again. The Progressive Party won their first senator. The Conservative Party won no senators. No party reached the 45-senator threshold, but a renewed coalition of UP–PP would have a combined 55 senators, a majority of 20.
