Inge Acren Starlit (24 January 2270 – TBD) was a Kusfeldic politician and stateswoman who served as Home Secretary of the Hveden Federation from 2302 to 2310, alongside leading the People Party, and being a senator from Kusfeld since 2302.
Personal life[edit | edit source]
Starlit was born in Hweins, Kusfeld to Kusfeldic father Patrick Acren and Ellyan Abigail Starlit. She attended the University of Escat from 2289 to 2292 studying Politics. Between 2292 and 2297, she also worked at a largescale charity in Hweins.
Career[edit | edit source]
Starlit joined the People Party in Kusfeld in 2298 after meeting a senior MP of the party during her charity work in the 2290s. She was elected to lead the new Hveden party in 2302. She became a senator from Kusfeld the same year.
Supply and demand agreement[edit | edit source]
As Leader of the People Party, she agrees to do a supply and demand agreement with the United Party to get into government. Here, she can deliver some wanted domestic reforms. Starlit was appointed Home Secretary by President Skalgar and began work on 1 July 2302. Starlit chose to appoint her friend and fellow PP member Robyn Bucket to Welfare Secretary to help bring in reform.
Under her leadership in the department, she introduced a minimum wage in the Minimum Wage Act 2304 with 47–22 in the Senate (4 abstentions), and 276–219 in the House of Commons (5 abstentions); and a worker safety law in the Safety Act 2305 with 65–8 in the Senate, and 468–14 in the House of Commons (18 abstentions).
