Karl Miches Seiger (né 6 January 2253 – TBD) was a Kusfeldic politician who is best known for being the primary author of the Vaiyan Document. He served as the Foreign Secretary of Kusfeld from 2300 to 2302 and later the Foreign Secretary of the Hveden Federation from 2302 to 2314. He had previously served as the Kusfeldic Ambassador to Matkalvina from 2295 to 2296, and as Secretary for the Union from 2296 until 2300 when it was merged with the Foreign Office.
Personal life[edit | edit source]
Seiger was born in Breustwek, Enabit to Kusfeldic parents Michael Seiger and Robyn Gosleing. He attended the University of Escat from 2270 to 2273 studying History and Politics, where he met lifelong friend Maar Skalgar.
Career[edit | edit source]
Seiger joined the United Party of Kusfeld in 2276 as part of the party's youth programme. He was elected to the House of Commons of Kusfeld in 2280.
As Ambassador to Matkalvina[edit | edit source]
Seiger was appointed to the post of Ambassador to Matkalvina by his friend Maar Skalgar in order to secure good relations preceding their necessary signing of the Vaiyan Document. In 2296, he was moved to a newly created post.
As Secretary for the Union[edit | edit source]
The post was created by Skalgar and would focus purely on drafting the Vaiyan Document. The position was merged with the Foreign Office on 7 October 2300.
As Foreign Secretary of Kusfeld[edit | edit source]
Seiger would continue working on the Vaiyan Document in his post as Foreign Secretary but would also visit all heads of states involved in the document too as its chief ambassador.
As Foreign Secretary of the Hveden Federation[edit | edit source]
Seiger was reappointed Foreign Secretary following the formation of the Hveden Federation by Skalgar. He brokered the Mutual Beneficial Alliance between the Imperial Oraclus of Eselgor and the Hveden Federation signed on 15 March 2309.
