The 2342 Hveden Federation elections took place across the Hveden Federation on 18 June 2342. They were the first midterms elections of the Hveden Federal Republic. In the President's Assembly, two seats were up for election due to the resignation of both senators there. Both seats up for election were incumbent Federalist. In the National Assembly, eleven seats were up for election. These included seven deaths, three resignations, and one suspension as a representative. Of the three resignations, they were all Libertarian party members who disagreed with the coalition of their main parties. Of the seats up for election, there were 4 Libertarian, 4 National, 2 Federalist, 1 Unitarian incumbents.

President's Assembly elections

Erenstion by-election

Erenstion elected a Federalist senator in the 2341 general election with 58.3% of the vote, making it a safe seat. As such, many were not worried about how the populace would vote. However, the Nationals had an opportunity to get their first victory following the reforms and were desperate for it. Many Federalists did not decide to turn out, although the Libertarian candidate dropping out due to the electoral pact did help out the Federalist candidate. Overall, 47.2% of the vote went to the Federalist candidate, with 47.6% going to the National candidate, allowing for a National victory, with a margin of 0.4%.

Graans by-election

Graans elected a Federalist senator in the 2341 general election with 58.9% of the vote, very similar to Erenstion, and another safe seat. Like Erenstion, the Federalists underestimated the National's attempt at power, and there was no Libertarian candidate to tunnel votes from. Therefore, just 43.1% of the vote went to the Federalist candidate, while the National candidate received 54.5% of the vote, a larger margin.

Overall analysis

The National party gained 2 seats in the President's Assembly, winning both by-elections. While a great result for Nationals and bad for Federalists, there was no shift of power in the chamber. The Nationals remained as the third largest party, still 5 seats behind 2nd place Libertarians, and still only controlling 27.69% of the seats against the coalition's 72.31%.
