The 2389 Da Kaicede was the third season of the competition, since its formation in 2386. The 2388 edition consisted of an entirely new format, adding a second level to the Ahitereiran Katabola pyramid. A pre-season cup between the bottom 8 from the 2387 league and the 20 newly invited teams would be what would be implemented as a means to decide who would be in the second level of the pyramid and who would get to stay in the first, this Cup would later evolve into the yearly Ah-Netar Cup.
