Diodiér (Exteras: dIOdIEAr) is a masculine given name of Sisinic origin. It was relatively uncommon during it's use in the early third millennium, mainly used by nobles. Today, nearly nobody uses the name as it fell out of fashion and was used by the ever shrinking Empheri language, which has been replaced mainly by Exteras. The name derives from the phrase 'work of the daughter', a bastardisation of 'dottir', the word for daughter and 'lieur', the word for worker. It is believed that this would was used for the illegitimate children of the monarch.
