The Egnostran city-states were numerous political and independent territorial entities that existed on the former Imperial province of Egnostra from the beggining of the 20th Century and the middle of 23rd Century until their eventual conquest by Western Suton

After the great plague sweeped Qatesh and the decline of the former kingdom of Egnostra. Local city lords declared indedepence from the Egnostran kingdom. Most of the governments of those cities were Republics with also a few exemptions being a monarchy or aristocracy.
