The [[Premier of the High Kingdoms of Alaxia|Premier]] is elected as the leader of the party with the most seats in the chamber in a confidence vote in January following an election. They act as the tie-breaker in circumstances where that is required, set federal government agenda, and form the government and appoint committee members. All [[Cabinet of the High Kingdoms of Alaxia|cabinet members]] to the [[President of the High Kingdoms of Alaxia]] must be representatives. Representative elections occur every three months in November.
