The International City, also known simply as "The Internationale", is a pseudo-independent city-state within the eastern island chains of Qatesh. Founded on June 17th, 2459, it is notable for its unique government system, in which nations, private entities, and companies could buy seats on the higher legislative, with an executive branch made up of 1 representative of each member of the International Concord Security Committee. The International City boasts many accomplishments for its size, such as hosting W.I.S.E and the IAP, which most notably was the first space agency to land man on the moon as well as first to discover alien life and first to have permanent inhabitants on the moon.
