Isabelle Penelope Cheswick (born 3 September 2483), sometimes referred to as Issy Wallace is an Empheri Labour Party politician who served as Deputy Prime Minister of Empherias from 2515 to 2516, and again during 2518, under John Malkey's premiership. She was a member of parliament from 2507 to 2519.
Personal life[edit | edit source]
Wallace is the daughter of famous actor Isabella Wallace and journalist Peter Cheswick. When Wallace entered politics, she took her mother's surname.
Wallace would marry Kacey Veronica on 5 May 2516, and would give birth to a daughter named Elizabeth on 20 May 2517, and to a daugher named Valorie on 22 September 2519.
Career[edit | edit source]
Wallace was elected as a Labour member of parliament during the 2507 general election, aged 24. She was appointed as the shadow leader of the Labour party in early 2514, and following the 2515 general election and Labour win, would become Deputy Prime Minister on 11 October 2515. Following a need from Malkey to maintain a coalition with the Liberals, the Liberal leader Barnaby Thompson was appointed as Deputy Prime Minister, replacing Wallace. Wallace was therefore moved to a position as Minister of Justice for three months from 10 January 2516 until 28 April 2516. She would return to the backbenches, although a loyal ally to the administration, to give time for her marriage to Veronica in May 2516, and the birth of her first child in May 2517. Malkey had several meetings with Wallace in early 2518 to have her return to her position as Deputy PM, which she would do on 3 April 2518. She held this position until her resignation later that year on 17 December 2518 due to personal reasons - and her position was not refilled. She remained a backbencher, giving birth to her second child in September 2519, and would return to the cabinet in November 2519 as a senior advisor to the prime minister for a month until the Labour party lost the 2519 general election and fell from power. Wallace decided not to run for re-election.
