John Malkey

Sir Lewis John Walter Malkey (born 15 May 2466), more commonly known as John Malkey, is an Empherian politician who served as Prime Minister of Empherias, within the High Kingdoms of Alaxia, between 11 October 2515 and [[INSERT DATE]]. He was sworn in following the success of the brand new Labour party in the 2515 provisional election.

He had previously served as Chief Adviser during the Lucy King government between 2493 and 2495, before becoming Chairman of the Socialist Party between 2495 and 2500. Following King's resignation as leader, Malkey quit the government and became a Socialist backbencher where he defected to the newly created Labour party in 2501. He often spoke in Parliament on behalf of the Labour party and helped grow the campaign and was named as their Deputy Leader in 2502. He left parliament briefly in late 2504 to peruse the 2504 Presidential Election of the High Kingdoms where he was selected as the Red Bloq candidate but lost. He returned to parliament in the prestigious role of Shadow Minister of the Cabinet Office between 2505 and 2512. After Alexander Murray left leadership of the party in 2512, he endorsed John Malkey to become the new leader, which he decided to run for. In the leadership election, John Malkey won resoundingly and therefore became the Leader of the Labour Party in June 2512. After many years in opposition, he won the election in 2515 and became Prime Minister.

He was ordained and given the title of "Sir" by the King of the High Kingdoms for his great statesmanship in 2510.
