The Empire of Kloresa was an empire of East Alaxia. Responsible for holding the Eastern Coast of the East Alaxian Sea's Bay. Kloresa was founded on various ideals that would be considered unorthodox for various nations, such as the lack of any gender norms, but rather norms of power. Kloresa distinguished itself from every other nation in the East Bay Coast, with its extraordinary military and strategic power, derived from Anternia.

Kloresa also has a interesting history, as it started as a movement of immigrants in search of better land, but ended up becoming a large empire.

History[edit | edit source]

Birth of Kloresa[edit | edit source]

Kloresan lands since the early times had been in constant conflict with each other, as the native peoples could not settle. Kloresa was a land famine and disease, and the only thing that pushed people to live on, was the hope of glory in the various wars.

Later on, after the Anternian defeat in the First Durbinian War, a large amount of Anternian immigrants took upon themselves to search for a better place, one group of them, would be the Kloresans. The Kloresans were a small sect of Anternia, they believed in the God of Power, Klores, part of the Anter Pantheon, as the true definer of the destiny of people.

It wasn't until later, that a man, Qlen Vouch, leader of the Kloresan sect, claimed the city of Qlen (This city would eventually be called Vitória, after the last Queen) in the lands the Eastern Bay. Qlen was a battle trained strategist, and in this war-riden East Bay, had proved his dominance in the battle field. Qlen sweeped across armies and unified the great warring lands into a war kingdom.

Society would work in a classist structure, with strength, strategy and skill being what determined your worth. This was very much well known by the Kloresan people, as believers of Klores. In the capital, Qlen, yearly tournaments were held in a large structure that determined who could be the most fit person in the tournament and showing their skills they were rewarded a high position in the army.

Qlen birthed a Meritocratic Kingdom out of nowhere, and in mere decades, spread the faith of the Anter Pantheon and the God of Klores.

The Kloresan State and Doctrine[edit | edit source]

King Vouch had decided that only the strongest military leader would be allowed to be named king, so he established an idea that every noble family interested in taking the throne after him would have to send their best warriors to the capital, and have them fight, the last one standing would prove himself to be the strongest and most strategic of the bunch, this to ensure great leaders would always be sitting on the throne.

Vouch would also establish bounties on any situation of Corruption or Rebellion that was sighted, as a way to combat them with faster and more precision.

The royal guard under Vouch would be the most trained and disciplined men in the entire kingdom, training 6 out of 7 days of the week doing physical exercise, continuing to master their weapons, and to constantly be ready for whatever circumstance.

The Kloresan were known users of war hammers, with sharp spears in the middle to act as a multi weapon tool. They would also use standard spears. Kloreseans would focus on ground troops rather than the cavalry.

Their greatest weapon, was not an object they could hold though, their best weapon was the knowledge of war that had been transferred by the war-riden tribes and the Anternians, and it was not something that could be easily rivaled.

The traditions held by Kloresans were also deemed unorthodox by many. First of all, they had no regard for gender or class as long as you maintained a strong and able physicality. Another one being, that every second-born prince would have to be turned into a feminized concubine for the first-born or to be married off.

Vouch Campaigns[edit | edit source]

Kingdom of Kloresa as King Tyral took over.

As the festivals of Klores every year continued, the King, Qlen Vouch, saw himself in need to show the power of the nation, so in a vast amount of campaigns he would begin the conquest of the southern peninsula. This was showing himself as the superior and most powerful man of Kloresa.

These campaigns would be where the king would first encounter with the Durbinians, as he in a show of power, completely disrespected and humilliated the Durbinian Represantive, as Qlen said

There is a clear difference between an idiotic person and someone with a brain.

Shortly after, he would ask the Durbinian representative to call him a god, and from that, they would begin to refer to the monarch as "God Vouch". Such was the charismatic and imposing persona of Vouch, that at the end of the conversation, the Durbinian representative bowed down and joined the Kloresan Army as a soldier.

All of the campaigns were fought in a swift and flawless victory, as once again Vouch claimed land for the various nobles, and glory for himself as the Great Founder of Kloresa. Various roads would also be built and the new Kloresan lands would be integrated, not through force but through excessive inter-breeding, not just with the natives, but also the captured slaves, the majority of which were sex slaves.

Vouch would then summon 3 of the most powerful noble warriors to fight for his throne, and the man by the name of Tyral Polves would be crowned as the new King of Kloresa.

First Campaigns[edit | edit source]

Bust of Tyral

Tyral in a matter of 2 years, had doubled the size of the Kloresan kingdom, and had proceeded to adopt the cult of 3 new gods, as a way to integrate the religions of the various natives of the region. Tyral's spetacular conquests, were a military achievement. These campaigns would show that Tyral was not a force to be dealt with, following the steps of the founding king of Vouch. Later he would also purchase the various Durbinian Ports that were claimed by Kloresa.

In simply 3 years, Tyral had become a power to be reckoned with in the region of the Eastern Bay.

Due to the constant warfare, the various smiths of Kloresia had developed a new type of steel, which was eventually dubbed as Kloresian Steel, this would give another defining advantage in the military prowess of the nation, and their further dominance of the Eastern Bay.

Tyral would later also order various campaigns, invading a northern kingdom and various inland native lands, all of them in a quick and clean fashion. With the conquests, he would introduce a new form of cultural integration, starting with the various kids, introducing them to various Kloresan aspects in their day to day lifes, such as Agricultural techniques, Herding and etc... Slowly integrating them into the conventional Kloresan way of life.

The Eastern Bay War[edit | edit source]

As Kloresa continued to grow, their neighbors began to fear it, Devnik and Durbin had suddenly formed a coalition, and now planned to destroy the Kloresan State. Tyral, had already feared this, so he had a force of 25 thousand men, prepared for such attacks. In the North, Kloresa managed to achieve a stalemate, and achieved a piece, in turn for the Northern Kingdom that had just been conquered prior. In the south, the Durbinians began to suffer immensely, as they were completely destroyed by the superior forces of Kloresa. With this, the War effectively was a loss for Kloresia, but it managed to show that it was not a force to be reckoned with.

Second Campaigns[edit | edit source]

Kloresa by the end of Tyral's Rule

As a way to restore his glory from the Eastern Bay War's loss, Tyral ordered his last campaigns, as a way to keep up with the tradition of leaving with victory, in the steps of Qlen Vouch. Such campaigns much like the previous ones, wouldn't be any harder, and were cleared out with swiftness and precision.

Tyral would order a duel for his throne, and this time, the one to win would be Vitória Melez, a experienced soldier, who fought in various battles of conquest of Kloresa.

Post-Vitórian Era[edit | edit source]

Vitória would order the last campaign of Kloresan expansion, and finally establish the final borders of the kingdom.

Vitória was also known for ending the Meritocratic form of government based on duels, in favor on establishing the Melez Dynasty. She justified such actions by calling it a far more stable system, pointing to the long lasting Anternian Empire and claiming that the Monarchy would live longer like this.

Besides this, Vitória wouldn't do much for Kloresa, and in fact would simply grow the infrastructure and the vast integration policies. This was kept up centuries after Vitória's death, as the vastly unstable Migratory Kingdom couldn't sustain more expansion, and such was the way until the invasion of the Paläkinnen Migrants, spreading their culture while also adopting the various Kloresan Ideals into their way of life. This would set up the Empherian Culture group in the southern region of the bay, as a odd mixture of both of these.

The successor state of Kloresa, Koresa managed to live on centuries after, with an almost constant border, until the Political Union with Ahitereira.
