Kuri-Kara Campaign
The Kuri-Kara Campaign was a brief campaign in the village of Kuri-Kara in Xicawa on 19 January, 2412. It the first and only battle in the Great War occurring in the Vamu. It was fought between two members of the Carkimash family, a bystander and one of the llamas of the Carkimash family.
Background[edit | edit source]
Minutes prior to the commencing of the campaign, the llama, called 'Chuki' by the Carkimash family, was being loaded by Isar Arixan Carkimash and his cousin Isar Canar Carkimash with a load of potatoes, along with 12 other llamas of the family in a caravan. Chuki, after loading, refused to move. Arixan took this to mean that he was overloaded, and took off some of the cargo, but the llama refused to budge. Even after more potatoes were removed, Chuki refused to shift from where he stood. Upon this display of stubborn obstinance, Arixan was greatly enraged, and took to striking Chuki with his staff. This resulted in Chuki becoming greatly agitated, and he cast off the remaining load on him, and afterwards spat on Arixan and trundled off into the nearby grove.
