The Li (Ginsukyan: li) was a unit of power and a structure in ancient Turiko society. It was a large family unit, equivalent to a clan, with the head being the most capable female member of the Li.

Before and during the migration, the Li was the primary structure of power over Turiko society, with a single Li being the leader of a village. As a result of changes brought about by the migration, Turiko villages started to grow massively in size, often resulting in there being multiple Li's with equivalent power and wealth in a single urban area. This resulted in the formation of bigger villages, called Yucili, literally meaning "Three Li", and the term is used in modern Ginsukyan to refer to a city.
