People's Populist Party of Empherias

The People's Populist Party of Empherias, more commonly known as the Populists was a left political party in the Kingdom of Empherias. It was established in 2396 as a response to D'laminet's mandate to form a government by Rijkdottir Abigail. It dissolved in 2417 due to internal fighting over ideology and other political circumstances. It was later re-established under an agenda of pro-Kloresian unification with the High Kingdoms of Alaxia. Following the success of this, the party again dissolved in 2454. Following the failures of the Socialist party in the early 26th century, the party once again popped up under an agenda of moderate left wing alternative to the Socialists. It did well, taking many Socialist MPs in rebellions until it won a government in the 2515 election.
