Rijkse is the title given to the male monarch of Empherias and Grensalbourg, however it hasn't been used in Empherias since 2448 when they joined with the High Kingdoms of Alaxia. The term translates to 'son of the kingdom'. Other titles used by the royal family include Rijkdottir (for the female monarch), the Rijkregt (for a regent of either gender)[1], and Prins and Princess (for children of a monarch).
- ↑ This term is rarely used even in history. Many regents during their reign just used the terms of Rijkse or Rijkdottir regardless.
