Scoitlan is one of the oldest states that has ever existed in Oikia's history, initially forming as the kingdom of Scoitlan back when states were initially starting to form in oikia. It was a powerful Dwarf empire and had strong ties with [https://xomni.miraheze.org/wiki/Solan Solis] but it would later collapse with The Great Plague in 1953 XY. The area would generally be characterized by petty kingdoms and clans for centuries. In the future 19th Century [[Solan]] had sent troops into the region to watchout for order expansion. The [[Third Order]] would later occupy the area and begin a process of displacement and colonization, however the region was largely overlooked for colonization compared to the far western borders which combined with the extremely shitty terrain so the dwarf majority stuck around, though many sought refuge in solis. In the present Scoitlan is the largest and most influential of the northern dwarf states though is still functionally a new country, having only recently been returned as a singular entity within the last century. |

It was a powerful Dwarf empire and had strong ties with Solis but it would later collapse with The Great Plague in 1953 XY. The area would generally be characterized by petty kingdoms and clans for centuries. In the future 19th Century Solan had sent troops into the region to watchout for order expansion. The Third Order would later occupy the area and begin a process of displacement and colonization, however the region was largely overlooked for colonization compared to the far western borders which combined with the extremely shitty terrain so the dwarf majority stuck around, though many sought refuge in solis.
