Solis is one of the most influental powers in Qatesh, alongside Suton and Cayuga, and the leader of the OFN (Organization of Free Nations).
Solis was home to the first empire of Qatesh.
Solis currently is home to several ethnic groups, such as the Solanides, South Solanides, Synidalians, Blians and Menilians.
The Solis Era[edit | edit source]
Solan(Solis) firstt emerged as a small city state that had a advanced congress and consuls. The nation of Solis quickly rapidly expanded into new territories and one of the first ones was the whole Solanese Canal, The natives quickly adapted to the solanese culture. Later a explorer by the name Sergius Pusinnus was sent to map the surrounding areas, after he returned the Solarian Empire begun its expansions the first wave happened in the western and eastern lands solis easily crushed the natives and soon after that most of todays solans coastline blias and dai-shun fell into the empire and they were all sucesfully converted and at that time Solan had its reached its peak but it wouldnt last long. The empire would start to crumble there were numerous civil wars but most were really minor except one that changed the empires course forever. Sceparnio Victricius had died in 601 XY and there werent any competent senators to replace him the nation fell into chaos and the Civil War started. The governor of Iculus, Sycophanta Laetinius, feeling that the Senate should have elected HIM as emperor declared himself as emperor and denounces the Senate for being traitors. The governor of Litus, Laurentius Hortensis, declared himself the King of Litus wanting become independent from the Solan Empire. The governor of Egnostra declares neutrality in the war and thus the civil war would start.

The Solanese Sucession Civil War 601-611 XY[edit | edit source]
The Solanese Sucession civil war was one of the bloodiest ancient wars over 500,000 Troops participated in it. The governor of Menalia first levied 63,000 Soldiers they met in battle alongside Demaenetus to crush Sycophanta. The battle was sucesfull and both the governor of menalia and Demaenetus take land. after that Demaenetus quickly rushed to siege Solis and take the city however Laurentius was sieging too. It was a 3 way siege battle. the Sycophanta forces were crushed quickly by both Demaenetus and Laurentius after that there was intense fighting across the all the districts the Demaenetus forces were able to capture most disctricts however the Centre of the city and a few other districts and the western entrance were still held by Laurentius. Demaenetus launched multiple attempts in order to take back some more parts of the city however they were unsucesful the Laurentius Forces were too fortified and thus Demaenetus came with an idea he would go back fighting Sycophanta and they quickly surrendered the remaing soldiers were placed under the most competenet general of Demaenetus. They were around 42,000 soldiers they encircled the city however in the upcoming night something unexpected happened. Laurentius and his best soldiers ambushed the generals army while it was sleeping the Demaenetus forces woke up quickly however their general was severly injured losing his right eye and getting a very deep wound. The soldiers after hearing that were immeaditily demoralized and Laurentius won the battle descively with his battle hardened elite Calvary and elite soldiers,archers however one of the catapult units were ordered to launch dead bodies and other things in order to plague the town and it worked. within 3 weeks Laurentius lost 37% of his forces and he had to retreat. The Demaenetus had finally won the siege however solis was damaged and 36% of its population had died or either left. and in the following time Laurentius tried to do a last stand however he was stacked by the Demaenetus Forces that were numerical superior than Laurentius only had 61,110 while Demaenetus 210,402 Soldiers. Laurentius had finally been defeated and he surrendered alongside Sycophanta. Delphium was the only faction left and it was quickly beaten by Demaenetus and south solan joined Demaenetus Faction and thus the Solanese Civil War of Sucession ended however Solis would not stay united for long.
The Nomadic Hordes[edit | edit source]

After the civil war had ended Demaenetus became the leader of Solis however the nation had been really damaged so he started focusing on repairing the nation. but the future wasnt so bright at first a daevite horde of 230,000 people arrived and settled into solan they were usually peaceful however sometimes they would raid towns in order to rape or gain loot, Demaenetus Soldiers were refusing to fight them because they were numerically large and so he would work on trying to make them leave through diplomacy some would do but most stayed. On the following years a terrible plague hit Solan that lasted 23 years resulting into the death of 20% of the solanese population and most of the daevite horde would die too. Demaenetus would later die and a new emperor would come called Sparax wishing to eradicate them he gathered 16k elites while the daevites were only around 40k with barely any real war experience. he easily crushed and the survivors fled to their homeland. but it wasnt the end for the next 200 years there were more nomadic invasions, they usually failed to settle however solis had to sacrifice its growth for the upcoming years.
The Collapse Of Solis[edit | edit source]
For several centuries after the nomadic invasions Solis was once again doing good however its last leader Albertus II which also had the longest reign in the empire would split his empire into 5 piecies for his sons in order to create something like a council system between the five of them however this backfired really hard once he died all the sons stop caring for each other and decided to look for their own interests. there wouldnt really be any wars but in the future they would too breaker into smaller states and one of the most important ones was Solis,Blia and a small proetocrate of the 5 states that was deeply influenced by them called Synidal would become in the future really important. After the collapse the states would slowy expand their land such as Solis expanding more in the north and Blia pupeting Arcaton.
The Great Suto-Solanonese War[edit | edit source]
The great Suto-Solano war begun as the leader of the Ancient Sutonese empire Tenno Xi Zakuta wanted to convert the Solanese States into the Sarenist religion however the Solanese States refused and so Suton begun their assualt and a alliance was formed between the Solanese states they quickly mustered their armies and met at the river of Litus facing Suton. It was a rough battle over 300,000 troops had patricipated in that it. The Sutonese had first charged it wasnt really effective but some gains were made. The Situation was rough as the Solanese league was slowy pushing but the leader of Blia and Solis organized a plan where they would target their Tenno to kill him because if he died they knew the rest of the Sutonese army would be demoralized. The league would make their best archers target him and their best Calvary units attempt a desperate assualt to his position to kill him. 1000 Elite Calvary soldiers had participated all of them were going deep breaking the sutonese lines however most of them would die and only a few would remain those targeted him and one of them was sucesfull he launched his spear into his head and didnt miss and the Sutonese Leader(Tenno) would die from it. The Sutonese would be furious but demoralized at the same time their assualt would stop. the sutonese would mourn him over a week. The Solanese league show this as a oppurtunity and it gathered more units and charged they were sucesfull and the Sutonese army was pushed far away from solanese land. After that crushing defeat the sutonese agreed on a white peace, but shortly internal problems would appear in their country. in the aftermath all of them would celebrate and the date that peace was made it would become a international holiday around Solan.
Melinor and Synidal[edit | edit source]
After the end of the Suto-Solanonese War the solanese states stayed quit for the next ceuntries except Melinor(who was Blia and would adapt the same name in the future) and Synidal that would make Solan great again. Melinor(blia) in 1953 XY would rise again their new leaders would be more open to trade diplomacy and they would aswell conquer Arcaton for around 100 years controlling the routs of the Hethmalep Sea making the nation but suddenly the nation would stop shining anymore when Ionaea took Arcaton and later all of Melinor it would become a vassal for the next 150-200 years, the melinians would also create one large insurgency consisting over of 75,000 men however it made ionaea kicking hundred of thousands melinian solarian worshpers out of the country. Synidal was originally the state of Salaris but theres was a peasant revolution which took down the old corrupt leaders, unlike melinor the old nation of Synidal wouldnt have any origins from a old nation however the locals there had adapated many things and traditions from the Solan empire as they were living in its outskirts. they were also not believing in solarism instead they had a another religion called Jovokyo they would spread it by conquering nearby areas and also that time the coreland of solan was conquered by the avyani empire however their occupation did not last long. But the following years a war between The Second order and Synidal would happen, Synidal would lose and be occupied by the second order. A politician refugee from synidal would then arrive to the recently unified solan and lead it and solans legacy would begin.
