Suton, officially the Federal Republic of Suton, is a country in East Qatesh. It is one of the most influential nations in the world.

The mainland of the nation is largely flat fertile plains with numerous rivers flowing through them. It is one of the most densely populated areas in the world.

The population of Suton is mostly elves with some human minorities.
History[edit | edit source]
Suton was one of the largely influential cultures within Qatesh and Xomni as a whole. The nation itself stood the pinnacle of time where it rose from a mere Shogunate in Eastern Qatesh into an Authoritative Republic Super-Power.
Zakulan Dynasty[edit | edit source]
The Sutonese were divided among Shogunates each pursuing the title of 'Tenno'. During the time most Elves in the plains did not call themselves 'Sutonese' but rather referred to the dynasty and clan. It wasn't until the Zakulan dynasty began it's mass expansions and Conquests through the plains that some form of cultural identification came into existence known as 'Sutonese'. These people were united by race, language and religion. The religion of the time was not Korakai but Sarenism, which held the belief that the Tenno was the god of the spirits that revolved around the world. Prayers and pilgrimages were very well common among the Sutonese people during this time.
Over the years the Zakulan Dynasty began to reach beyond the plains of Suton and into the land of the Daevites. The Daevites were a nomadic and strong people united under a Khan. The Khan refused the pilgrimages of the Sarenists and this led to the Tenno of a now united Sutonese people to declare war. The war was decisively won with the the Daevite Khan executed and the Daevite people divided into different khaganates under the Zakulan dynasty. Though of course the land was still decentralized with there being issues of subjugating a Nomadic people put strains on the dynasty and having a lack of control in the north. In an another conquest that went far beyond the plains of Suton was a war with the Thesbians. The Thesbians lost the war but were much to ease in subjugation than the Daevites due to there being large municipals within the area. But the Thesbians rebelled nearly retaking the entire region back from the Sutonese until the Tenno's son was able to thwart them. The rebel's leader was left impaled and large portions of the human population was forced to flee south after land appropriations by the nobility of the Dynasty. This led to a large portion of the Thesbian population being largely Sutonese-Elvish.
By the end of the wars this came to become the first golden age of Suton. Where it was now largely common to find wealth among even the poorest Sutonese to have clothes made of silk. Sutonese women no longer had to leave out to milk or work their cattle as now they have servants to do that for them. These conquests and expansions brought wealth, harmony and joy to the Sutonese people which finally led to the dynasty to declare itself the first Sutonese Empire. The capital was now on the East coast of the city of Zakul and a canal built to connect itself betwen the lake and the eastern Qatesh sea.
Ancient Sutonese Empire[edit | edit source]
Throughout the years prosperity of the Empire the Tenno slowly began to age becoming a nearly a century old. He died leaving his son Xi Zakuta to take the title of Tenno he was seen as a war hero that crushed the Thesbian rebellions. Some historians would state that the rise of Xi was when the Sutonese Empire truly began to fall. In the West of the Sutonese was the Solan Empire entering it's antiquity collapsed into multiple Imperial Sucessors. The Tenno took this as a chance to expand west by assaulting a Solan sucessor, but Xi went as far as to demand that the head of the Solar religion converts into Sarenism. This led to a holy war between the Sarenist Empire, Suton and the Solar Empire, Solan. The war was bloody with the Tenno leading an army south to outflank the Solans forces attacking it's western border. The Tenno made gains but died in assault against a Solan army in the river. This left the men and nobility discouraged to fight the war as their living diety was killed in battle, thus having to negotiate white peace with the Solas Sucessors.
The Korakai Clique[edit | edit source]
Through the death of the Tenno led civil strife on the mainland, khagnates and colonies of the Empire. This was known as the Great Schism where the Empire finally broke from it's golden age and into civil war. The Korakai were a sect of Sarenism that believed that the individual should be held highly and that the Tenno was not truly a god but a son of the heavens. The Korakai clique formed demanding that their own Tenno should be the leader of the Sutonese Empire, Korakai becoming the state religion and slavery to be abolished. Slavery was one of the main concerns of the Korakai as attacked the value of individualism. The clique won the war after occupying the holy city of Zakul and placing a new Tenno as leader of the religion.
Collapse of the Clique/Divided Empire[edit | edit source]
The Clique was soon to collapse itself after the leader of it tried to coup the Tenno. This led to the Tenno having to flee south and the khagnates in the north long wanting freedom to declare independence. The municipalities in the west formed their own Merchant Republic. The Tenno was left in the south to title of the Sutonese Empire as a plague began to spread from the west from Ionaea, which began to strike the population and the successors of the Sutonese Empire.
The Two Sutons/First Northern War[edit | edit source]
Over the years Suton began recover from it's collapse and numerous developments have arrised. West Suton(Merchant Republic) began to continue it's own expansions in central Qatesh while East Suton( Tenno's Suton) began to expand overseas. Throughout the years there came a people in the North known as the Cralasians. The Sutonese knew most Cralasians in their night stories tales of demons in the north. The Cralasians began to invade and genocide the Daevite Khagnates in the north which led to a mass migration to the south. Both Sutons welcomed them as their own citizens and the Sutonese innovating them as specialized calvary.
Yet over the years the Cralasians began to grow in strength and territory, leaving swaths of land empty after genocides. The Cralasian's holy father was assasinated by a United Republican Knight who used a Sutonese dagger. The Cralasians looked to blame the Sutonese which led to a war between the two. South Suton called it's allies West Suton, Solan and the United Republic in assistance, the West Sutonese did not join the war but the rest of allies did. The Sutonese defeated by the Cralasians in the north forced to draw back and enforce levy. This led to most of the northern provinces being damaged from razes to prevent the Cralasian Army from marching into Zakul. The Cralasians were starving and had to resort to devouring Sutones Elves upon their arrival at Zakul. Zakul was held strong where the Cralasians were defeated and pushed back to the North. To Discuss peace the diplomat of Cralas ceded southern land to Suton and most of it's territory to the United Republic at the rest of alliances disagreement.
The innovation of gunpowder within East Suton led to the invention of the musket and cannons which soon began to spread to West Suton. The plague left a need for Artisans and Merchants which then required that more resources were needed. This led to an exploration into the regions of Alaxia and Acoria. From here there were two colonies set up each ran by the Sutonese-Alaxian Company or the Sutonese-Acorian company. These companies would then send their resource back to mainland Suton. Kiavalar was colonized by the Sutonese after occupying the capital by threatening the king with bombardment and Western Erdelicht was colonized by the Sutonese after recent conquests with the support of the Tupa'lei. Over the years East Suton has begun to rival the Ionaeans and formed a rivalry after the annexation of the Blians who were guaranteed by East Suton, which East Suton was largely against. East Suton then declared itself the Sutonese Confederation and established it's own parliament at the demand of the people. The Tenno still holding their religious and Authority role with the support of the parliament. GZD Suton(West Suton) began to follow suit with it's own parliament to this point where it also had it's own colonies in the Hethlamep lake and Dai-shuin colony.
The Fall of East Suton[edit | edit source]
Over the years East Suton has held global power and reign within the world and Qatesh. But by 2296 XY the nation was going through skirmishes and wars with the North Cralasians most of the time supported by the West Sutonese. The West Sutonese were looking towards the unification between their eastern brother. The Ceironians were a rising power within Acoria by the time and were swindeled by the Sutonese after supporting Lunidor, to which case they were forced to hand over all their banks over to the eastern Sutonese company. The Ceironians would then absolve the banks which dam
aged their economy but after numerous ecnomic plans they were repaired. The Ceironians back the Order as did the Western Sutonese which left the Eastern Sutonese cornered and finally, all forces attacked at once upon Eastern Suton. Eastern Suton was forced to defend itself against current numberings of 1.4 million troops with 400 thousand troops on a multi-front war. The Western Sutonese managed to make gains the west while the Cralasians and Ceironians pushed south. The war was lost with the Western Sutonese occupying more than half of Suton as well as the Cralasians, the Western Sutonese letting the Cralasians have their way in Zakul. Within Zakul numerous atrocities occurred and the land of East Suton was divided with Cralas and GZD Suton. Most Sutonese to this day still debate and wonder why the West-Suton Republic betrayed their Eastern Brothers. Eastern Suton remained under the Cralasian State appointed communalist party which was largely despised by the East Sutonese not only because it devalues their religion, but because now they were a puppet state. On The Cralasian side it was much worse. Most capitalists and merchants were executed or forced to flee to West Suton, while the working class, clerks and farmers were enslaved to send resources to Cralas. Liberation wouldn't come for the East Sutonese until 2418 XY.
2500 general election[edit | edit source]
The incumbent president Zhang did not run for re-election in the 2500 presidential election. This widened the race for the presidency significantly, and also opened up the race in the Canton Representatives and Senatorial Deputies elections. The possibility of the election to shake up Sutonese politics was very aware in the minds of the public with the media quoting it as 'possibility the largest shift in 25 years'. While the field of candidates was still mostly moderate, many were worried that without a stable leading authority figure, parties could easily shift left or right.
The election was held on 24 May 2500.
