The first recognition of Sinkajjà as a nation was by the [[West Alaxian Congress]], convention by which would establish the [[Eulean Union]].
 
Several liberal revolutionary movements would risegain traction within Sinkajjà in the aftermath of the Lothyran Revolution, of note the [[Old Yaxoviya|old yaxoviyin]] and the [[Legenna Suyl]] Society, both of which rejected Classical Unionism and which would later form basis for the [[Sinkajjì Ňaraya Àrtiš]], and who during the [[Beletharian Wars]] would partake in the [[liberation of Mêzam]] and eventually proclaim the [[First Sinkayyan Republic|independence of Sinkajja]].
 
Under support from the [[Grand Republic of Lothyran]] it would eventually manage to establish control over most of what is modern Sinkajjà. Lothyran would support the establishment of free public education and the construction of universities throughout the major cities of the Republic. Freedom of press and freedom of religion were established for the first time in the history of the region, rights that would only be re-established with the foundation of the [[Second Sinkayyan Republic|Second Republic]] years later. This period also oversaw the industrialization of Sinkajjà.
