Sinkayya (Sinkajji: sinkaçà Sinkajjà [sinkaça']), officially the Nerodic Socialist Republic of Sinkayya (Sinkajji: sinkaçahi jihùriya neeruzìh hêymataS Sinkajjahi Jihùriya Nëruzìh Hêymataš) is a yaxovist socialist republic located in West Alaxia. Its capital and largest city is Širandeh, located by the Golden Bay. It borders Atlantia to the west, Ginsukyo and Jimaria to the south, Tushinmero to the east and Ruskvy to the north.

Several empires have established themselves in its territory, and at several points in history, it had been a major center of trade. The river network of the Jùr has been an important artery for commerce throughout its history, connecting Central Alaxia to Vehperša and Eulea.

Sinkajja is the fastest growing economy in Alaxia, and one of the main producers of textiles, chemicals and electronic parts, as well as the second largest country by population in West Alaxia, only falling behind Jimaria.

It co-developed the Siraza alongside Atlantia, a Computer Network which operated in West Alaxia between the 2480s and 2490s, and would eventually be merged into the Internet. It is also the originator of Email.

History[edit | edit source]

Ancient History[edit | edit source]

Tempestian Rule and First Revolutionary Period (2237 - 2394 XY)[edit | edit source]

From 2237 onwards the Tempestian Empire conquered the majority of the territories that encompassed historical Sinkajjà.

The earlier period of tempest skaven rule was marked by the institution of a strict racial caste system, the abolition of sinkayyan nobility and the persecution of bokanism.

Througout the period there was a rise in Legisan and Lejjiri movements as reaction to the colonial policies.

A more dramatic example of these was the Xankanì legis, which saw the defeat of the local tempestian garison by peasant forces, but would eventually be subdued by the imperial army.

National awakening and Revolutionary Period[edit | edit source]

The 22nd century XY saw the rise and spread of sinkajji nationalism.

The first recognition of Sinkajjà as a nation was by the West Alaxian Congress, convention by which would establish the Eulean Union.

Several liberal revolutionary movements would gain traction within Sinkajjà in the aftermath of the Lothyran Revolution, of note the old yaxoviyin and the Legenna Suyl Society, both of which rejected Classical Unionism and which would later form basis for the Sinkajjì Ňaraya Àrtiš, and who during the Beletharian Wars would partake in the liberation of Mêzam and eventually proclaim the independence of Sinkajja.

Under support from the Grand Republic of Lothyran it would eventually manage to establish control over most of what is modern Sinkajjà. Lothyran would support the establishment of free public education and the construction of universities throughout the major cities of the Republic. Freedom of press and freedom of religion were established for the first time in the history of the region, rights that would only be re-established with the foundation of the Second Republic years later. This period also oversaw the industrialization of Sinkajjà.

With the end of the Beletharian wars the entirety of Sinkayyà was annexed into the Tempestian Empire and the majority of the rights and acchievements gained during the republican period were reversed. The abolition of the Tempestian Monarchy and the establishment of the Vallarist Republic of Ruskvy oversaw the rise in active repression of the western bokanist church and popular movements, attempted colonisation of Sinkajjà, and the reestablishment of the caste system.

Sinkayyan Revolution (22nd of January, 2394 - 2395 XY)[edit | edit source]

Revolutionary movements began emerging in the years preceding the revolution in direct reaction to the increased repression. Several different radical circles would form the Yaxoviyyi Haymʼma after the Xankanì Massacre and would take a significant role in the revolutionary process through the creation of underground schools, libraries, workers' councils and revolutionary cells.

The works of Kêmalah Yaxov Valyarinʼ, leader of the Yaxoviyyi Haymʼma movement would come to heavily influence what would be the later stance and line of the Sinkajjì Kemaytàji Haymʼma, predecessor to the Sinkajjì Kemaytàji Harkêt.

The supression of the Širandeh strikes contribuited to the creation of the Sinkajjahi Harkêt Leyyiran (Sinkayan Revolutionary Movement) as a merger of several movements that aligned around the principles of Yaxovism, Sinkayyan Nationalism, and self-rule, including the Yaxoviyyi Haym'ma itself.

Support for the SHL rapidly spread throughout Sinkayya, and workers' councils (Sinkayyi: Nayrodan) surged as a way to organize, by part of the workers, the strikes and manifestations. That would eventually evolve into an underground parallel government which held more leverage than the colonial government itself. That system would later form the basis for the principles and the government structure of republican Sinkayya. The escalation of the conflict would eventually lead to the formation of the Sinkayyan Revolutionary Liberation Army which would debut in the battle of Ardanšàh, in the 22nd of January.

The period following the formation of the militia up to independence was marked by partisan activity and urban guerilla by part of the SALL.

By the end of the conflict the Treaty of Recognition was signed between both parties, leading to the passing of the referendum that would ultimately establish the independence of Sinkayya in the 14th of May, 2395.

First Socialist Republic of Sinkayya (2395-2417)[edit | edit source]

Union of Nërozic Socialist Republics (2417-2511)[edit | edit source]

The question on whether should federalism be pursued arose shortly after Independence. Albeit originally opposed by Yaxov in "Ùstin’yi Mayani", the majority of the Congress would eventually vote in favour with the consideration of groups such as the Ašryani and Saxazì as ethnocultural minority groups waranting the creation of republics for fullfillment of their self-representation, alongside the aknowledgement of smaller groups such as the Sinkajji Turiko and Elven.

Political considerations were also at play, such as the rise of Unionism in the neighbouring Eulean Union and the conditions stipulated by the treaty of gotehan in regards to the unification with the Republic of Sevaja.

The Great War[edit | edit source]

The ecclosion of the great war would eventually see the entry of the Union alongside Azyeri and Ceironia against Ruskvy and Ciyuga.

The battles of Xankanì and Xoln’yidèh were won by the Union, after this point most other battles would be skirmishes until the collapse of Ruskvy with the Ceironian invasion of their capital.

Recent History[edit | edit source]

Transition[edit | edit source]

The Union would be dissolved in 14 May, 2511 by a decision of the Maghisttariya of Nations after long tribulation, started by the ousting of the Governour of Ašryanijja in 2489 upon uncovery of his collusion with the Ašryo-Avašyani ethnonationalist, Rašurdist Rozéaryanne factionalist movement.

In the period immediately following a ban was issued on all flags related to the group, citing and controversialy reaffirming the motion that banned Unionist symbols within Sinkayya following the Battle of Ardansàh

Criticism over the state of the Union and the effect federalism had in its later years led to the formulation of a plebscite

The leading investigations and discovery of the extent of the network led to the debate over over-bureaucracy, the extra level of complexity added by the federalization, issues regarding the lack of control over effective state budget oversight by union and its necessity in the modern day.

84% of the votes were favourable for an unitary system, thus officially ending the Nayrozan Union.

Internal Strife and SKJjn's Revolution[edit | edit source]

Internal strife within the party steadly rose as result of the investigations, as the scandals reignited demands for change, and more specifically, a list of immediate demands stipulated by the Sinkajjahi Kemaytajiyi Jjovnëlar; of which, some included the immediate resignation of President of the Maxisttariyya Yaxov Marxan and his cabinet, including the remainder of the collective leadership; The introduction of stricter work regulations, increased labour inspection and accountability over business held in condominium with foreign companies, both private and state owned, and the nationalization of non-public logistic infrastructure.

Accreting to that, rising geopolitical tensions, specially within and between members of the WAUF, including the then recent rise of a far-right party within Ginsukyo ultimately led to general protests and the eventual removal of the incumbent maxisttariyya.

Ňaryeňa Konaxandèh and Maryanjjana Kastradèh, figures that became proeminent during the protests would rise, respectively, as general secretary of the SYKS and president of the national maxisttariyya.

The brief period of joint rule would be marked by deep factionalism within the party, however it'd also see the removal of several former members under charges of corruption including in relation to the joint ginsukyo-sinkajja owned high-speed railway.

Following a scandal involving letters filled with anthrax, Maryanjjana, whom had stepped down briefly prior, and another member of her cabinet would be arrested, and several members of a clandestine pro-west alaxian integration organization with ties to Thrax would be sentenced to life in prison, all of them under charges of conspiracy. General crackdown of remaining groups whom had relations to both parties and Muriil Tisran's faction (former minister of internal affairs) would follow, cementing control under the Ňaryeňiyyi and ending the factionalist period in Sinkajjà.

Ňaryeňiyi Sinkajja[edit | edit source]

The country would partake in the West Alaxian War, on the side of the DMSO. Most of its contribution consisted in low-level engagements in northern ginsukyo and east atlantia, reconnaisance, intelligence and equipment.
