Various Thraxian tribes have inhabited the northern parts of modern Thrax since classical antiquity. These tribes consisted of mostly humans but also dwarfs, which would mine the many resources the area later known as Thrax had to offer.

In the beginning, most of the population of the area later known as Thrax consisted of nomads or little setlements. In this time the setlements where closed agricultural society’s with little connections between different tribes.
