Hyrettian period
Hyrettian period of EmpheriasBeginning with the coronation of Louis III and the creation of a codified constitution, this era oversaw a centralisation of Empherias, general early democratisation and it's increase in power - mainly through wars and peace agreements such as the 1943 Waldegrave Accords and 1955 Vreimer Accords. Pippin I's rule oversaw the creation of the modern Bank of Empherias, while Louis IV's rule delegated more powers to Lord Mayweather - one of the earliest prime ministers - letting the parliament to oversee major domestic issues. Elizabeth I oversaw three major wars, the First and Second Weskynn Wars, and another war with Palakkinen - which massively increased the money in the treasury and secured Empheri language and cultural influences over Weskynn. Charlotte I was too young to rule and the power of the monarchy thus weakened even further, with Lord Aalsmeer becoming a powerful figure in government. He orchestrated several governmental reforms including codes of conduct, the establishment of political parties, an opposition, and the Millenium War against Weskynn to secure a rebellious king.

An opposing party was formed known as the Rhetorists, led by Viktoria Gascoyne, who would occassionally win elections. A delegation to find peace with Koresa signed the Bartholomew Accords, but the Rhetorists opposed this. Increasing tensions with Vreitrijk during this time saw the government raise thousands of troops incase of a dual invasion. After Gascoyne broke the Bartholomew Accords in 2027, Koresa invaded the towns of Byst and Tyrs seeing major battles led by General Rhys Hearns and General Mikael Pierce on the Empheri side respectively. Koresa captured both towns with general ease, and Hearns was captured and executed by Koresan forces, while they moved towards the River Tweight to push towards Zerwynn. Minister of Foreign Affairs, and later prime minister, Lewis Sword was able to broker the Treaty of Querença in 2028 which ended the war with relatively small concessions of Byst and Tyrs to Koresa. With debt up, Gascoyne was ousted by Sword - who later resigned.

Spencer Cunningham Wells found himself as the next prime minister and was immediately subjected to an invasion by the Mad Prince of Norsair. Henry Alamekas of the Royalists became the new prime minister and fought the Cunningham-Wells War. Throughout, he was paranoid of a Koresan attack from the west to surround Empheri forces. The Battle of Garlar, the Battle of Peustein, the Battle of Wyndheim's Hour, and the Battle of Howertowall were all won by General Tyrer Wyndheim of Empherias and pushed back Norsairi forces to their capital city, Noreise. The war would come to a close with the Hulgerie Accords being signed which cleared Empherias of a large chunk of debt from plundered town gold. Charlotte I passed away, and the accession of Prins Ristie sees the end of the era.
