Later migrations by the [[Thasselene]] peoples in modern-day [[Sinkayya]] influenced the Turiko significantly, introducing written language. The Amperite's political system resulted in a power struggle between the once powerful [[First Gurin|Gurin]] and the [[Amper]], culminating in the [[Gurinist Rebellion]], ending in the [[Treaty of Remaba]] which abolished the office of the Amper.
