It was the first ever legislative election held in the union, and was held simultaneously with the [[2449 High Kingdoms presidential election|presidential election]] and [[2449 High Kingdoms elections|other provincial, federal, and devolved elections]]. While no single party won an overall majority of the seats, the ensuing [[Golden Coalition]] of [[Liberalism in the High Kingdoms of Alaxia|centre to centre-left liberals]] would have a combined seat count of 291 seats, a majority of 50. This gave [[President of the High Kingdoms of Alaxia|President]] [[Clemenceau Richelieu]], who was also a [[Liberal Party of Ahitereira and Koresa|Liberal]], great power over the legislature. [[Gõçal Bitraş]], the [[Leader of the Liberal Party of Ahitereira and Koresa]], became [[Premier of the House of Representatives of the High Kingdoms of Alaxia|Premier of the House of Representatives]] in a vote 291–239 on 1 January 2450.
