Sir Tyrer Strasse Igmaerum (18 October 2432 – 25 November 2505) was an Empheri lawyer, civil servant, and later politician, who served simultaneously as Prime Minister Scarlett May's Director of Communications, Chief Adviser, and in her government as the Minister of Justice and the Minister of the Cabinet Office, from 2475 to 2485. Following disagreements with May and her cabinet in 2484 and 2485, Igmaerum left government and helped bring down the government by 2487. He refused to endorse future Liberal leaders, notably refusing to endorse Liberal prime minister William Turner when he won the 2501 general election. He served as a Member of the Empheri Parliament from 2473 to 2485, representing the Liberal party.

Graduating from law school in the 2450s, Igmaerum attained a job as a civil servant in Empherias. He personally was a Liberal but said that his political leanings didn't prevent him from carrying out government Socialist policy. However, as he continued working, he became disillusioned with the government and resigned in 2466. He gained notoriety with big passionate speeches in his local authority and was elected as a councillor during the local elections in 2468 for the Liberals. He maintained this position until he was selected to be on the party-list to be a member of parliament in the 2473 general election for Liberals, which he won. He worked as a backbencher initially and became a government minister once the Liberals entered government after the 2475 general election.
