Rules for the Wiki

1. All the posts need to be related to the Xomni Universe. Articles that already exist in the regular Wikipedia do not need to be copied.
2. Avoid bias or opinions when possible in the posts you write. Keep things objective, or mention a balance of opinions and interpretations if necessary.
3. Metric is the standard form of measurement in the Wiki. Any other form should be put in parenthesis; (e.g 30cm (11.8 in). Some templates will do this automatically and it's not mandatory to have imperial units. Celsius counts as a metric measurement.
4. Joke posting or editing should not be done in permanent articles, although being allowed in placeholder articles.
5. Present day on the wikipedia is set as 1 January 2522 XY.

What is canon

Canonicity is a hotly discussed debate because of the various timelines, large amount of Xomni roleplays, and flexibility on events. It is universally understood by the general community that the first two Xomni World Roleplays, XWR and XWR2, are canon. Then, the roleplays of Zazar and the upcoming Anfaro are widely considered to be part of the same universe taking place in a different solar system. The canonicity around XWR3 is debated because unlike previous roleplays, it never concluded and ended prematurely, and had many players unsatisfied with the events that took place. However, this wiki recognises the official XWR3 as canon with a caveat. The official roleplay ended in XY 2526, while this wiki only reaches up to XY 2522. This decision was made to match up with the current year in real life (2022), and because the latter few years of the roleplay had very few actual active players.

There are some debates elsewhere. The upcoming XWR4 is an upcoming roleplay produced by the player Nelay and has been widely deemed non-canon. Further such Xomni World Roleplay continuation projects are not recognised. Andonia, which has it's own wikipedia, has a few projects related to the Xomni branding such as a detail of the events within the Prodij Universe, produced by primarily Charlottie and Anto, or the Nimverse, produced by Jair based off of the Nimroy brand. These projects are not canon.

The Xomnipedia is the highest authority on what did or did not happen in universe. Because it is the most editable, community-driven, and up-to-date collection of articles. Because these roleplays ended a while ago, the wiki served as an opportunity to retcon decisions that was universally agreed to be unrealistic, add in some more elements in flavour, introduce plot points unseen before, make timelines fit better with more detailed events, etc. This does mean that the official timeline may not be completely matching with what was roleplayed. The Xomnipedia is a place for people to discuss in depth and thoroughly without bias what should've and did happen with more time to process things and is therefore taken as fact.
