During the early 2400s, Zhar was home to Farzad Hamad's "Equalist" movement, a left wing ideology which sought to unite the working class against the wealthy in order to create a more equal society. Despite neighboring Yuvani, Yagoaan, and Ladyros all eventually falling to radical leftism, they were never quite able to gain the same foothold in Zhar, winning only the occasional election and failing to create a long-lasting regime.
