The 2302 Hveden Federation senate election took place on 1 April 2302 to elect the 73 members of the Senate of the Hveden Federation. The election took place prior to the establishment of the Hveden Federation, which would form on 1 July 2302. As such, election procedures were slightly different and were held with separate rules in each of the ten members taking part. Only roughly 2% of the population were eligible to vote in these elections, with a higher voting age and requirement of owning property.
All seven founding members received 10 senators, while all 3 client states would each receive 1 single seat - for a senate of 73 members. 36 senators would reach a majority, the requirement to pass a bill. This election saw each member assigned a number of seats and the senators by party assigned proportionally. No other senate elections would do this. The election saw the United Party achieve 31 senators, the National Party achieve 23 senators, the People Party achieve 9 senators, the Conservative Party achieve 8 senators, and others achieving 2 senators.
