Sir Alistair James Rettels (12 February 2352 - 16 March 2439) was an Empheri politician who served as Minister of Foreign Affairs of Empherias from 2378 to 2388, and as Deputy Leader of the Liberal party from 2388 until 2395 when he retired from politics.

Alice was born the eldest child of Sir Edwin Rettels and Rosina Hopkins on 12 February 2352. He was raised in the Rettels Chateau before going to boarding school at aged 11.

He was awarded a knighthood on 11 January 2384 by Prime Minister Wigfred Marksdottir for his services to the country.
