The Revolt of the Blue Hens, also known as the Aryešèh Uprising was a failed uprising conducted
by adepts of unionism against the sinkayyan government after the arrest of several proeminent members of the movement for charges including incitation of violence and threats against the government and public figures.
In the day of the uprising very few unionists actually showed up, with many members distancing themselves from the movement in the hours preceeding and following the battle.
During the uprising the unionists were immediately met with resistance, through pro-government yaxovist citizen militias.
The battle proper lasted 50 minutes with the eventual dispersion of the unionists, the majority of which would be arrested shortly after or got killed in separate confrontations with policial forces.
The monicre "Revolt of the Blue Hens" was given by an article on the event, which ironized the flight of the unionists, who tended to use blue uniforms.
This marked a watershed moment in sinkayyan history, (wip)
