An unknown factor at the time of the Mark I releasing was the project being bankrolled somewhat by the Ceironian Government, Nimroy-Hawkings Co would not have afforded the competitor crippling cost of the prized vehicle without significant subsidies, however the funding from the government granted the company confidence inside and without in terms of being able to secure investments from the companies unknowing of the deal. During the late 2470s the draw plans for another program would begin, Project Duality, which primarily served as a space colonisation mission and mass improvement of safety standards and rocket efficiency. Starscreechers, Douglas spin stations, lunar colonies, Adelfi orbital satellites and other important creations would be developed by this program. The two primary concoctions from this program as of 2499 have been the CNV McConaughey, which went through well over a decade and a-half of development, a fifty man 65m diameter two-wheeled spin station, powered by a nuclear reactor and containing multiple scientific and civilian facilities. The Ceironian National Industrial Conglomerate (CNIC), is a Ceironian multinational, multi-industry military and consumer goods manufacturer headquartered in Kashini City, Kashini, Ceironian Union. It was created through a restructuring of the Ceironian National Arms Corporation on May 18, 2454, and became the parent company of the Inron Arms Company, Latango Arms Incorporated, Spania General Arms and North Kashini Arms. Later on, upon branching outside of military-industrial manufacturing, additional companies were either founded by or absorbed into the corporation, namely Nimroy-Hawkings Co, the Kashini Extraterrestrial Company, Svantara Fusion Inc and the Mass-Calculator Company, for the full list, see list of mergers and acquisitions by the CNIC. The Nimroy Family have remained as the controlling shareholders, board members, and employees of the CNIC for most of its history, aside from a hiccup in 2463 to 2475 generally known as the Zhdanov Period. The CNIC is the world's largest company by revenue and has secured that position for a majority of its existence.

2454-2463: Founding, incorporation & Douglas Nimroy[edit | edit source]
Rebranding and legitimisation[edit | edit source]
The CNIC was founded on the basis that it would legitimise the functioning cartel between Inron Armaments & Armoured Automobiles, Latango Arms Incorporated and Spania Aeronautics, and lessen public and political distaste towards the "alliance" between the Ceironian Union government and the previous iteration of the conglomerate, the CNAC. Another factor was Douglas Nimroy's personal and organisational preferences towards business management, as creating an entirely legal and legitimate corporation as opposed to the cartel meant that the company dissolving from the inside would be impossible, with only worries from public movements and politicians who wished to "anti-trust bomb" the near monopoly over military-industrial production. Immediately after the founding of the new corporation, all of the established subsidiaries were renamed from the Inron Arms Company, Latango Arms Incorporated, Spania General Arms and North Kashini Arms to in the same order as Inron Armaments & Armoured Automobiles, Latango Naval Construction Inc, Spania Aeronautics and the Kashini Extraterrestrial Kompany.
The subsidiary with the primary alteration was the transformation of NKA into the KEK. As the GCA is amendable, and with Nimroy at the helm, a deal was struck with the Ceironian government that the KEK would have merged administrative responsibility over the Space Program with the National Space Exploration Agency, beyond serving as its sole contractor for constructing rockets. This amendment to the GCA would legally be active for ten years from May 2454 onward and would be automatically renewed in May 2464. As Nimroy had a keen interest in space exploration and the eventual colonisation of Paidi and Adelfi, he became Director of the NSEA, a position in which he would continue possessing until 2480 with his assassination. The KEK would could continue developing and constructing weaponised missiles in contracts with the Ceironian Armed Forces.
As the CNIC was the legal successor and continuation of the CNAC, the Government Corporation Agreement of 2451, which is more comprehensively described in the CNAC page, continued on. As the agreement remained in appliance to all CNIC companies, that included but isn't limited to a taxation rate of several percent higher than other corporate entities, the Ceironian government to accept CNIC contractors in disfavour to other military-industrial companies. Censorship of mainstream media outlets significantly opposing the elevated status of the conglomerate, this part of the agreement however was amended and made defunct upon the ousting of the Tarasovite government and the transition to democracy. Another bargain was that the government would never crack down and anti-trust regulate the conglomerate, this claimed as a "godsend" by Oleg Zhdanov, the President from 2463 to 2475. Another "pact" made with the Ceironian government is that conglomerate subsidiaries may not make up above a fifty percent market share in any industries. upon reaching the threshold, the government has the legal right to commit punitive action against whichever subsidiary arrives at the overreach margin and seize up to thirty-three percent of the total assets of said subsidiary.

Upon the retirement of Georgiy Tarasov, and the re-establishment of the federal system and political liberalisation of Ceironia. The Republican, National Democratic (as of 2500 non-existent) and the Industrialist Front (now the Union of Ceironian Industrialists) parties voiced general approval of the continuation of the GCA. Opposition was primarily generated from the left-wing Revolutionary, Workers Union (now the Socialist) and Democratic parties, the latter having a significant faction which possesses a neutral or mixed opinion on conglomerate matters.
2480-2481: War in Thraxia, John Nimroy & the Insurrection[edit | edit source]

Upon the aftermath of John Nimroy committing regicide against the High Marshal of Ceironia and murdering the leader of the Counterculture and Anti-War movement, the stock value of the company plummeted to near zero. That combined with threats from the Ceironian government to seize all conglomerate assets as a result of the insurrection, put the new CEO of the company, Obadiah Stane in a precarious position to begin with.
