The Jimarian Armed Forces encompass the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Keripulis of the Jimarian Republic. The President of Jimaria heads the armed forces as Chief of the Armed Forces.

History

Jimarian Expeditionary Force

In June, 2411, Jimarians serving in the Fazarian Army were reorganized into the Jimarian Expeditionary Force under the wishes of King Mazar. While these units were still subservient to high level Fazarian commanders, up to the level of General, the officers were Jimarian.

After June 2448, and the end of the Imperial Combine, the Jimarian Expeditionary Force was reorganized into the Jimarian Army and Jimarian Airforce.

The Keripulis also traces its origins back to this period, being formed to suppress domestic violence during The Great War, especially in the state of Newel. Serving as a national police force, the Keripulis have been the model for most riot police forces around the world.
