John Whistle

John Whistle was a Grensalbourgish politician who served as Prime Minister of Grensalbourg from 9 January 2465 to 19 March 2476. He is famous for founding the Grensalbourg Defence Force in 2465, and passing the Local Representation Act 2472 which established powerful subdivisions. His two monumental legacies culminated post-premiership when the subsequent PSP gov't attempted to abolish these subdivisions in 2477, also leading to the first proper use of the GDF in the 2477 riots, after they had a fight with the Mutaarist party, allies of Whistle's Liberals in the coalition government prior.

His tenure as prime minister was over 11 years, making him the longest serving prime minister of Grensalbourg. He headed the Liberal party from his leadership contest in October 2464 until his resignation in June 2476 post-election defeat.
